A lake made for pioneering : dammed lake on the course of the Truyère, situated on the course of the Truyère and at the foothills of the Aubrac plateau. With a surface area of 1000 ha and a max depth of 300 feet, they are plenty of spaces for fishing, but 2/3 of the banks are steep and difficult to access making the use of a boat necessary. Very few tourists and the lake can be used for night fishing all year round across its whole surface.
It seems that the best time to fish is in the spring when the fish migrate towards the cooler zones mainly situated upstream
Dammed lake situated on the Lévézou plateau at over 2600 feet altitude with a max depth 150 feet and a surface area 1240 ha.
The lake is frequented by pleasure boat users and tourists in the summer. Easy access to certain zones but difficult or impossible in places (private property)
Subject to very strong winds as situated on a plateau , navigation with care is advised , it is used for night fishing all year round across its whole surface.
Big density of carps which have an average weight of 7 kg and the biggest reach 25 kg
Large population of bream and large roach.
At the moment, the river Lot is navigable for 72 km in Lot-et-Garonne from Saint-Vite, just downstream from Fumel, to Aiguillon, where the Lot meets the Garonne.

In the Lot département, the river Lot traces its course through a 75 km navigable stretch, considered as one of the most beautiful in France. The Lot is officially navigable over this stretch from 1st April to 15th November (maximum period).
You can also navigate on the river Célé : it is navigable for 84 km from 230m to 125 m above sea level where it joins the river Lot.
In the future 280kms of the river Lot will be navigable.

Open from 1st April to 31st October, you can rent electric boats, electric karts (Gliss Speed) and also electric bicycles or cars.
An electric shuttle is also operating from the port to the medieval village of Penne d'Agenais.
